What we use here is drill cotton because we want it to be comfortable, relaxed and breathable, both for a whole day out and at home. It isn't necessarily a protective look, so should be viewed as a costume with a highly valued look. However, a number of consumers make use of these kilts on an every day basis also, due to its durability.
