Whether you have ordered a hand-crafted tartan kilt, a traditional jacket, or a full set of accessories, the same principles apply: we take full responsibility for our craftsmanship, and we expect couriers to take responsibility for their handling.

Eligible
We offer a full return or exchange within 30 days of delivery, but only where the issue is due to manufacturing — such as sizing execution, colour accuracy, or the quality of workmanship falling below our standards.
What qualifies as a manufacturer fault? If the finished item was produced to a specification that does not match what was agreed at order time — incorrect size made, wrong colour applied, or substandard stitching — you are fully covered.
Returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 calendar days of receiving your parcel.
The item must be unused and in the same condition as delivered.
Size errors caused by incorrect measurements submitted by the customer are not covered — please double-check your measurements before placing your order.
Photographic or video evidence of the fault is required when submitting your request.
Important: Customers are responsible for submitting accurate measurements at checkout. If a sizing issue results from the figures you provided rather than our production, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
Custom-Made Items — Bespoke Policy
Non-Refundable
Every kilt, jacket, accessory, and musical instrument we produce is made-to-order specifically for you. Because these items are crafted to your individual specifications and cannot be resold, they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable as a general rule.
We do make exceptions where the fault clearly rests with us:
The finished item was not made in accordance with the specifications you provided at the time of ordering.
There is clear, visible evidence of a manufacturing defect or production error.
In either of the above cases, we will offer you a full refund or a free replacement — whichever you prefer.
Items Damaged During Delivery
Courier Liable
We pack every order with great care to ensure it arrives safely. Despite this, damage can occasionally occur in transit — and in those cases, liability rests with the courier company, not with us.
We will actively assist you in raising a damage claim with the relevant courier.
You must report transit damage directly to the courier in line with their own claims procedure.
Refunds for courier-caused damage are issued by the courier only, and depend on the outcome of their internal review.
Please inspect your parcel on arrival. If the outer packaging looks damaged, photograph it before opening — this evidence will be essential for your courier claim.
Kilts Made with Custom Tartan Fabric
Non-Refundable
Kilts crafted from bespoke or custom tartan fabric represent a unique combination of your chosen pattern and our craftsmanship. These are entirely one-of-a-kind pieces and are therefore non-refundable by nature.
If your custom tartan kilt arrives with a sizing discrepancy caused by our production team, we will manufacture and send you a replacement at no cost.
If the kilt is received in a damaged state due to a fault in our workshop, we will replace it.
Kilts that have been worn and subsequently damaged through regular use or incorrect care are not eligible for return or replacement.

Requests that are missing the order number, fault evidence, or a clear description cannot be processed. Please ensure everything is included in your first message.
Returning Your Item — What You Need to Know
Instructions
Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order — late returns cannot be accepted.
All items must be sent back in their original, unworn, undamaged condition.
For exchanges, we must receive and inspect your original item before dispatching any replacement.
Please include inside your parcel: your order number, your reason for returning, and a description of the fault if applicable.
